From user needs to budgets
Mål
The student has acquired knowledge of:
- the activities in the product development process.
- the elements in the business model canvas (Osterwalder)
- the elements of the business plan (Cyr)
- how early decisions influence the business model and business plan.
Tema
This module will introduce you to the connection between the early product development activities and the final business model as well as the business plan. We will use Stuart Pughs approach to the product development process, Alex Osterwald's approach to modelling the structure of the business and Linda A. Cyr's appproach for the business plan.

This module touches upon data sources and analytical approaches to the business enviroment, industry and competition.

Dette modul omhandler om elementerne i en forretningsmodel - og hvordan man ved skrue på disse elementer kan udvikle alternative modeller. Der præsenteres eksempler og de studerende arbejder selv med at analysere forskellige virksomheders forretningsmodeller.

- develop a business plan based on factual knowledge about the user, the market conditions and the internal environment of the company.
